Dan's cars
Besides my Jeep I have a 1990 Plymouth Laser which will not die,
although it is now on its second engine.
Here's a picture of it, from my last autocross trip to Mansfield:
Before I got the Jeep I had a 1982 Chevy K20 -- a brownish-bronze 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive
pickup with a 6.2 liter diesel engine, long bed, tow package and HD suspension, custom
camper cap, and snow plow. Unfortunately, it didn't last very long. I kept it going as
long as I could, but eventually I had to sell it to a mechanic. Wish I had a picture of
it, but I never got around to taking one. I also never took a picture of my 1974 Trans
Am -- dull red, rusted out, with a 455 and his 'n' hers 3 speed. I sold it before I moved
to Cleveland, which was probably a good thing.
I also (briefly) had a '93 Dodge Intrepid. Beautiful car, but not the most dependable
form of transportation on the planet. I can't say it was the worst car I ever owned,
since I used to have a 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass, but it was a close second. And I only
had it for a year. Also, don't lease through Star Bank. They suck.
